Seymour Mayne is the author, editor or translator of more
than fifty books including El Viejo Sofá Azul, short fiction
in Spanish translation (Anábasis), Ricochet (Mosaic), a selection of
his word sonnets, and a companion volume, September Rain (Mosaic). He recently co-edited Foreplay: An Anthology of Word Sonnets, available online from Friday Circle.  A long time resident of Ottawa, he has helped sustain the national capital literary community for more than thirty years.
